Compliance and Communications Officer

Terre des hommes (Tdh) is dedicated to bringing about significant and lasting change in the lives of children and young people, especially those most at risk. Tdh Nepal is seeking a qualified and dynamic individual for the position of Compliance and Communications Officer to be based in Kathmandu, Nepal with frequent field travel. 

General job description of the position:

The Compliance and Communications Officier is responsible for developing and maintaining communication materials that highlight key achievements of the work Tdh and its partners are doing in Nepal (in the form of project fact sheets, country brochure etc) and will manage the Tdh Nepal social media handles, ensuring regular content from the program teams. In addition, the position is responsible in ensuring our operations in Nepal remain compliant to the national laws and regulations while also managing and fostering strategic partnerships with the local govt. This position involves a unique blend of communications and compliance skills, along with the ability to cultivate and maintain positive relationships with govt interlocutors.
