Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

We are looking for an inspiring and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our organization through its phase of growth, impact, and change. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for peacebuilding, a strong commitment to our core values, and the strategic acumen needed to steer our organization toward a sustainable and transformative impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Advance the organization’s mission and vision strategically while promoting GPF’s core peacebuilding values and creating measurable social impact.
• Lead long-term planning processes to identify innovative approaches for addressing challenges in communities.
• Oversee daily operations, financial health, and compliance to ensure effective and efficient management of resources.
• Drive revenue generation through fundraising, grants, and partnerships to sustain and expand programming.
• Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, community partners, and policymakers, to strengthen our network and broaden our impact.
• Represent the organization in public forums, the media, and advocacy efforts.
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative work environment that empowers staff to excel, grounded in the organization’s core values.
• Collaborate with the Board of Directors, Regional Representative to provide updates, strategic insights, and progress reports.
• Guide staff in program development and evaluation, ensuring alignment with GPF’s vision, mission, values, and community needs.
• Lead policy advocacy efforts to support peace-focused initiatives and values-based social change.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in any field with 10 years leadership experience in a non-profit, peacebuilding, social impact, or values-driven organization or master’s degree holder in any field with 5 years leadership experience in a non-profit, social impact, preferably in peacebuilding and community development
• Strong financial and operational management skills, with a track record in strategic planning and execution.
• Demonstrated success in fundraising, partnership development, and stakeholder engagement.
• Deep commitment to GPF’s core values, with exceptional interpersonal skills to inspire, guide, and unite different stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Salary and Benefits: As per rules and regulation of Global Peace Foundation Nepal.
