Global Family Care Nepal is a non-profit making company that works to prevent and intercept child trafficking and systematic abuse and provide long-term and family-based care for children who are victims of commercial sexual exploitation and other forms of abuse. 

Our mission is to preserve the family and protect at-risk children with the assistance of community organizations, volunteer caregivers, government and donors.

Protecting children: We encourage local community organizations to find solutions using their own assets to protect children from exploitation and abuse.

Preserving families: A strong family is our most effective tool of protection and prevention. Preserving the family unit is crucial for the safety of children and the wellbeing of the community.

 

Scope of Work

The ‘Strong Family Project’ is a one-year project with a goal to provide a comprehensive case management services to at risk children or survivors of abuse and exploitation. The project will make care plan for individual beneficiaries and provide interventions to ensure no re-victimization from the perspective abusers or child rights violators.

The Case Management Coordinator will work with the chairperson, finance/admin team and the project staffs; 5 days a week and 8 hours a day. 

 

General Job Objective

Lead the case management team to plan and execute the sustained restoration elements for beneficiaries according to Assessment of Survivors Outcome indicators.

 

Job Responsibilities

Identify the beneficiaries according to project’s goals and objectives.

Train and lead the team to undertake Assessment of Survivors Outcome. Use the recommended tools for the assessment.

Identify the specific needs of the beneficiaries and plan the need-based interventions.

Coordinate with Nepal Child Rights Council, police, municipalities and like-minded organizations to address the need of the beneficiaries.

Prepare care plan and execute them accordingly. Monitor the team members and ensure the interventions are executed as planned.

Prepare monitoring and evaluation plan for the beneficiaries. This will include remote monitoring and periodic field visits.

Organize case management and team meetings.

Facilitate the rescue of child identified at risk or victim of abuse and exploitation, within Nepal and India.

Write project report to board, donors and other stakeholders, as per the need.

Write success case stories and share with different stakeholders.

Ensure purchases of goods and services for the project meets company’s finance and procurement policies.

Network with likeminded organizations to meet the overall goal of the project.
