Call for Proposals: Collaboration for Civil Society Organizations’ Engagement in Nepal

Save the Children jointly with the NGO Federation of Nepal and the Association of International NGOs in Nepal (AIN) with support from the European Union (EU) is implementing the “Strengthening Civic Space and CSO’s Role at All Levels of the Federal Governance System in Nepal” project. The project aims to create an enabling environment for civil society organizations (CSOs) and civic actors to contribute to an inclusive society, democratic governance, and equitable development in Nepal.

As part of this project, Save the Children invites registered CSO networks, coalitions, alliances, and federations to submit innovative project ideas aimed at enhancing civic engagement and promoting democratic values in Nepal.

Key Details:

• Grant Amount: Up to NPR 500,000
• Implementation Period: 1 April 2025 to 31 June 2025
• Application Deadline: 28 February 2025

Eligibility:

• Registered CSO networks, coalitions, alliances, and federations
• Priority for organizations representing marginalized groups (women, youth, Dalits, gender/sexual minorities, etc.)

Proposal Evaluation Criteria:

• Relevance to civic engagement
• Feasibility and impact
• Sustainability and organizational capacity
• Collaboration and inclusion
