CALL FOR PROPOSAL TO CONDUCT 

BASELINE STUDY OF UMN MDT’S

“CBID” PROJECT

United Mission to Nepal Medical and Development Trust (UMN MDT) and Okhaldhunga Community Hospital (OCH) have been dedicated to serving the people of Nepal. With funding support from Normisjon, UMN MDT has been implementing a five-year Achieving Community-Based Inclusive Development (CBID) Project in Okhaldhunga District from 2025 to 2029 as part of its second project cycle.

The project works with Persons with Disabilities (PwDs), their families, duty bearers, local government, outpatient departments, and community groups in the target area. Its goal is to transform Okhaldhunga District into a disability-inclusive society where PwDs and their families experience the fullness of life through full inclusion, participation, and contribution.

UMN MDT, and OCH are seeking a consultant to design and conduct a baseline study in Siddhicharan Municipality and Chisankhugadhi Rural Municipality of Okhaldhunga District to provide baseline data on project and cross-cutting indicators. This advertisement invites applications from individuals and companies to undertake this data collection. Details of the scope, objectives, timeline, methodologies, and qualifications for the consultants have been provided in the Terms of Reference (ToR), which can be accessed at https://www.umn.org.np/consultancy

All interested and experienced individuals and companies with PAN/VAT registration who meet the requirements and qualifications are encouraged to apply. Applications should include a letter of interest stating why you are best suited for the assignment, a technical and financial proposal, and a detailed CV. The application must be submitted to UMN no later than 20 March 2025.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in an assessment process. We especially encourage applications from women and marginalised groups.
