CALL FOR PROPOSAL TO CONDUCT 

EVALUATION OF UMN’S “IRCH” PROJECT

United Mission to Nepal (UMN) has been serving the people of Nepal since 1954. UMN, with funding support from Transform Aid International, Australia,has been implementing the “Integrated Rural Community Health(IRCH)” project in Nawalparasi Cluster in partnership with a local partner, Indreni Social Development Forum (INDRENI). This is an End of the Project Evaluation covering a period from 1st July 2019 to 30 June 2025 (six years). 

The proposed intervention “IRCH” is focused on the “fullness of life through improvements in the social, physical and mental health of women, children and adolescents in marginalized communities of Nawalparasi (Pratappur and Palhinandan Rural Municipalities)”. The project has seven outcome areas, broadly related to reproductive health, WASH, the practice of healthy behaviours, adolescent sexual and reproductive health, improved accountability of health service providers, documentation and application of learnings, and improved capacity for disaster risk reduction, including disease outbreaks like COVID-19.

This advertisement has been published to invite applications from registered consulting firms to conduct this evaluation. Details of the evaluation scope, objectives, timeline, methodologies, and qualifications for the consultants have been provided in the Terms of Reference (ToR), which can be accessed at www.umn.org.np/consultancy

All interested and experienced consulting firms who meet the requirements and qualifications are encouraged to apply. The application should include a letter of interest, a technical proposal, and a financial proposal. The application must be submitted to UMN at the latest by 18 December 2024. 

Short-listed candidates will be invited to an assessment process. We especially encourage applications from women and marginalised groups.
