Endline Impact Assessment Survey, 2024

Towards climate resilient inclusive water supply services in rural Nepal-Extension Phase 2023-2024

Introduction

SNV is a global development partner deeply rooted in the African and Asian countries where we operate. With 60 years of experience and a team of approximately 1,600 people, we strengthen capacities and catalyse partnerships that transform agri-food, energy and water systems. Working on the core themes of gender equality and social inclusion, climate adaptation and mitigation, and strong institutions and effective governance, we tailor our approaches to different contexts to achieve large-scale impact and create sustainable and more equitable lives for all.

With the funding support of DFAT Australia’s Water for Women Fund, SNV in Nepal is implementing the Towards Climate Resilient Inclusive Water Supply Services in Rural Nepal project (extension phase 2023-2024) in Dailekh and Sarlahi districts. This project is being implemented applying SNV’s Climate-Resilient Rural WASH (CRR-WASH) framework and Area Wide Approach.

Currently, SNV Nepal is planning to carry out Endline Impact Assessment Survey in both the districts. This survey will be conducted at households, schools, and health facilities level. In Dailekh district, working areas are Dungeshwor, Mahabu Rural Municipalities, whereas in Sarlahi district, working areas are Parsa and Ramnagar Rural Municipalities.

In relation to this, SNV Nepal is seeking a service provider to carry out the proposed endline impact assessment survey. The assignment is anticipated to start in the first week of October 2024 and to be completed by mid-November 2024.
