Call for Proposal: Define roles and responsibilities of all stakeholders in a participatory way, including drafting of Measuring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) program staff job descriptions and KPIs for inclusion in the MRV program management plan


CBIT Project in Nepal aims to strengthen capacities to meet the requirements of the ETF and track national progress against priority actions identified in Nepal’s NDCs. It allows Nepal to improve its capacity for transparently reporting and communicating its progress on NDCs. This project builds institutional and technical capacities of the government line agencies at different levels, civil society organizations (CSOs), and relevant private entities to enable them to collect, manage, and share the required information to efficiently track the progress of NDCs and support the reporting and communication of climate actions. This project is being executed by the Ministry of Forests and Environment with technical assistance from WWF and funding from the Global Environment Facility (GEF).

WWF Nepal seeks the services of a consultant to develop a comprehensive legal and institutional framework for Nepal’s Measuring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) system, defining stakeholder roles and responsibilities and ensuring coordination and transparency across all relevant sectors. 

Interested VAT registered firms in Nepal are requested to submit technical and financial proposals providing a detail breakdown of total budget in Nepali Rupees, electronically to: proposalsubmission@wwfnepal.org. Please mention email subject as - “MRV - CBIT” and submit the proposal by 5:00 PM January 7, 2025.
