Call for Expression of Interest for Insurance Service
FAIRMED is a Swiss development organization dedicated to work with its motto “Health for the Poorest”. The organization plays an important role in providing health care access to the marginalized communities and individuals who are prone to diseases, disability, and poverty. The core focus of FAIRMED's work in Nepal is Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) – Leprosy, LF, Kalaazar, etc and Maternal and Neonatal Health (MNH), while it interweaves GESI and Disability Inclusive Development (DID) as cross cutting themes into its programs to strengthen the health system and increase the uptake of public health services.

FAIRMED Foundation Nepal currently has 36-40 employees for whom we have been providing the insurance benefit. For the year 2025, we hereby invite EOI from the eligible and interested insurance companies who can fulfill the requirements as specified below:
Requirements:
The purpose of the service is to facilitate the employees of FAIRMED Foundation Nepal and their immediate dependents with the insurance benefits in terms of:
- Group Medical Insurance (Hospitalization and Domiciliary) for employee and his/her immediate dependents under different packages under a package of 3 lakhs and 4 lakhs.
- Married: Spouse and 2 children
- Unmarried: Parents
- Personal Accidental Insurance for employees under package of 10 lakhs and 25 lakhs
- Assets/Equipment (any risk)
- Vehicles (two wheelers and four wheelers)
Procedures for the submission of bid:
Interested and eligible firms/Company are requested to submit the EOI through email at nepal@fairmed.ch clearly marking the subject with “EOI for Insurance services” by 27 February 2025, 17:00 Hrs (Nepali Time)

Bid received after the deadline will not be considered and only shortlisted firms/suppliers will be called for further process. The organization reserves all rights to qualify/disqualify application with or without providing any reasons whatsoever. All bids will be treated with the highest confidentiality.
