CALL FOR CARRYING OUT ORGANISATIONAL AUDIT

AND ASSESSMENT ON DISABILITY INCLUSION AND ACCESSIBILITY OF UMN UMNMDT

United Mission to Nepal Medical and Development Trust (hereinafter referred to as “UMNMDT”) is a trust that started operating in Nepal on 7 October, 2020. The primary purpose of UMNMDT is to own, manage and operate two long serving mission hospitals - United Mission Hospital Tansen and Okhaldhunga Community Hospital with their associated medical teaching facilities. In addition to this, UMNMDT’s work also involves development work in the communities around health, education, and self-reliance of the poorest people in rural Nepali communities to enhance skills development and to create helpful opportunities for them. Rooted in the same values and vision as United Mission to Nepal (UMN), UMNMDT has adopted similar vision, mission and values as UMN.

The goal of this study is to audit and assess the disability inclusion and accessibility status in the organisational mechanisms and processes. This will include establishing a baseline for disability inclusion and accessibility, identifying key inclusion and accessibility barriers or gaps, and capturing good practices and learnings in the organisational systems and programmes/projects that will help the organisation to develop/revise organisational strategies for future.

All interested and experienced consulting firms who meet the requirements and qualifications are encouraged to apply. Application should include a letter of interest, technical proposal, and financial proposal. Application must be submitted to UMNMDT by Tuesday, 9 August, 2024 at the latest. Short-listed candidates will be invited to an assessment process. We especially encourage applications from persons with disabilities, women and marginalised groups.
