Business Development cum Project Coordinator
Details / requirements:
Business Development
· identifying prospective business opportunities for the organization.
· To be aware and to be updated regularly on the consulting opportunities/projects funded by various donor agencies in the assigned sector(s) well in advance and prepare accordingly.
· Correspond / communicate with potential international / domestic firms for various consulting projects in the assigned sectors.
· Identify best international/domestic firm(s) for the projects – Interact, identifies and tie up with a firm (s) who have relevant consulting experience, strong human resources relevant to the project, strong financial resources and firm(s).
· Accompany and liaison with international principals to client and related organizations during their visit.
· Identify best local resource personnel(s) for the projects - To interact, identify and tie up with best resource personnel, mostly local, to be proposed through TMS for the projects.
· Build good rapport with resource consultants and national and international perspective partner firms.
· Assist in preparing EOIs and Proposals.
Project Coordination
· Coordinate with consultants and clients on project-related matters
· Work closely with consultants to ensure deliverables meet the target and standards. This includes reports, documents, training, and other related activities
· Develop project schedules and work plans in coordination with the team leader
· Work closely with the team leader to monitor project progress
· Plan and implement project-related activities
· Work closely with the team leader of the project to develop administrative and operational systems and recruit personnel for project setup
· Manage contracts with clients, partners, and consultants
· Update the project implementation manual according to new lessons learned during project implementation.
· Ensure financial management of the project in coordination with the finance and accounts department
· Make field visits to project sites as and when required
· Maintain professional rapport with clients that include government agencies and international donor organizations
· Work with international partners to ensure proper project implementation
· Participate in meetings and seminars related to the project
