Summary of Job Purpose: The Business Development and Communication Senior Specialist (BDCSS) is a partner-facing role responsible for implementing a comprehensive capacity- strengthening component for national actors within the USAID-funded Localization Support Contract in Nepal. The BDCSS is a critical position for the EnCompass-led USAID Localization Support Contract, working closely for business development and communication-related support to strengthen the capacity of national organizations and partner NGOs. 

Educational qualifications and experience: Master’s in international development, management, public administration, communications or other relevant field with at least 7-10 years of relevant professional experience.  At least 5 years in business development and or strategic communications. Proven experience in working with national organizations in developing countries. Strong understanding of national organizations/NGOs capacity strengthening methodologies and best practices. History of working effectively and respectfully with national government, L/INGOs, contractors and other partners.
