Position Overview

  • Location: Kathmandu
  • Duration: 1 year with 3 months probation period
  • Reports to: Executive Director

Core Responsibilities:

Program Management

  • Develop and implement departmental plans
  • Coordinate daily operations
  • Monitor program objectives and outcomes
  • Create reports for leadership team
  • Ensure compliance with policies

Team Leadership

  • Manage staff recruitment and development
  • Provide mentorship to team members
  • Oversee performance evaluation
  • Coordinate with stakeholders

Administrative Oversight

  • Support budget managementCoordinate events and schedules
  • Represent organization at key forums
  • Manage documentation and communications

Required Qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Development Studies, or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years nonprofit sector experience
  • Proven program management background

Technical Competencies

  • Bilingual proficiency (English and Nepali)
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Project management expertise
  • M&E experience
  • Grant writing abilities
