Position Overview
- Location: Kathmandu
- Duration: 1 year with 3 months probation period
- Reports to: Executive Director
Core Responsibilities:
Program Management
- Develop and implement departmental plans
- Coordinate daily operations
- Monitor program objectives and outcomes
- Create reports for leadership team
- Ensure compliance with policies
Team Leadership
- Manage staff recruitment and development
- Provide mentorship to team members
- Oversee performance evaluation
- Coordinate with stakeholders
Administrative Oversight
- Support budget managementCoordinate events and schedules
- Represent organization at key forums
- Manage documentation and communications
Required Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Development Studies, or related field
- Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years nonprofit sector experience
- Proven program management background
Technical Competencies
- Bilingual proficiency (English and Nepali)
- Strong documentation skills
- Project management expertise
- M&E experience
- Grant writing abilities
