Accounts and Administration Officer
Shine Education Services Pvt. Ltd. (SES), Mid-Baneshwor, Kathmandu, has been offering quality counseling in the field of “Study & Work in Japan” since its inception in 2015 through running ‘Study in Japan’ and ‘Work in Japan’ programs for students and skilled and semi-skilled workforce, respectively. Be it studying in Japan or working in Japan, SES guides interested candidates by providing a platform for the preparations and visa application procedures.
Simply the best known for its extensive Japanese preparation classes and counseling, Shine Education Services is seeking for a dedicated and committed Accounts and Administration Officer to oversee the accounts and administration of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
Accounting duties:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation.
- Verify and record daily accounts using computerized accounting software.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Monitor and manage tuition fees, payments, and overdue accounts.
- Prepare and submit financial reports, including monthly and annual accounts.
- Process payroll for staff, including calculating salaries, benefits, and deductions.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including filing of VAT and other necessary tax returns.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Liaise with external auditors during audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Administrative duties:
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including scheduling and coordination of classes, meetings, and events.
- Handle student enrollment and maintain accurate student records.
- Maintain accurate student records, including enrollment, attendance, and academic progress.
- Prepare and organize class schedules, course materials, and other documents.
- Coordinate with teachers and other staff for any administrative support needed.
- Assist with student registration, including processing applications and preparing student-related documentation.
- Maintain an organized filing system for documents and correspondence.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance tasks for the facility.
- Act as the first point of contact for students, parents, and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and other external entities as required.
- Assist with marketing, social media, and promotion of organizational programs.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and order new materials as needed.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in accounting and administrative roles, preferably in education sector.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
